July 1, 2010

It's taking me more energy to pack, clean, wash, and plan a vacation than it is to take one...my goodness!

Packing a bag for me is like designing outfits for a whole week - kind of hard but necessary since I don't want to mix/match accidently.

I'm thinking the weather will be similar ~ 72 degrees - sunny could turn cloudy, but nice light "layer" weather. Hoping to hang with Doug's family for the 4th and relaxing - but all the while checking my emails. Switching off the news from work is hard for me to do. Maybe by the third or fourth day in I'll eventually ease into being away from technology and flex my social/family skills a bit more.
