My Story

Paper a la Mode began when my husband and I were getting married and I decidedto DIY my own
wedding invitations. Thanks to a little creativity and a LOT of help from my loving fiancé and
beautiful bridesmaids (who thankfully accept payment in pinot noir!) it was a success!

 

I ended up crafting several things for my own wedding (Save the dates, placecards,
table-cards, thank-you gifts, thank-you cards, etc.) Not only did I have a great time
doing it, but I seemed to have resurrected the creative streak that I hadn't used since
high school art class!

 

I received enough compliments (my family is either very kind...or great liars) to venture
into doing invitations for a friend's wedding. One friend turned into friends of friends,
strangers, and several of my husband's co-workers! Word of mouth is a beautiful thing!
Thus sparked the development of Paper a la Mode – my favorite hobby turned into a
fun second job!
